Making crafts with children is very rewarding, but it can also be very trying on adults. Frequently, if you forget one tool or part, the whole project is a disaster. To make the experience as successful and painless as possible follow these steps:

1. Read over the instructions
2. Make a prototype so that you are intimately familiar with the materials and techniques
3. Make a list of all the materials and tools you need for the project - check it at least twice
4. Get the materials and tools together well before the meeting - check at least twice. Don't forget to include your prototype and a copy of the instructions in case any last minute questions come up.
