	Proper Handling Technique

Take care of your slides. Store them on a board. You work hard to make them, so don't mistreat them and break them. Slides can be very frail objects. With some extra thought, most slides can be made more rugged, but they will always have weaknesses. Frequently, the most likely part of a slide to break is where the ring is attached to the slide. You can help this by being careful and holding the ring instead of the slide as you put on and take off the slide.
