Plutonium Transport |

See the Teaming Chapter for more instructions, hints, tips, and ideas.
PurposeThe mission is to move the plutonium (water) from a starting point to the finish without any spilling. There is enough plutonium in the container to kill a million people. The container cannot be touched. Use either the rubber band or the platform carrier, or both.
This game can be used to teach about disabilities.
EquipmentTie the thin rubber bands evenly spaced around the thick rubber band. Tie one end of the rope to each rubber band. The team members hold the ends of the rope. By pulling, the thick rubber band can be stretch and placed over the can. By relaxing a bit, the rubber band will hold the can. All team members pick up the can and move it to the finish, lower it, pull the ropes to stretch the thick rubber band, and remove it from the can. The smaller rubber band act a little like shock absorbers. Without them, the task is more difficult as the thick rubber band is more easily stretched and the can will slide out.
Platform CarrierDrill 1/4" or so hole in each corner. Tie one end of each rope in a hole.
