While working on the Webelos Travelers pin, my den sat down and brainstormed about games that could be played while traveling in a car. They had a lot of fun coming up with the games and REALLY enjoy playing them on trips like to Webelos Summer Camp. The two pages have the 50 states, scavenger hunt, prayer, car safety rules, and 12 other games. Some of the games are specific to traveling in a car, but many can be played anytime. You can use their games, or come up with your own.

Braiding is another good activity for keeping young folks occupied on trips.
