	Wooden Tube

This is a good project for beginners. Completing it will give the whittler confidence to take on something more difficult.

Take a block of a pretty wood like cedar and drill a 1/2" hole through the middle of it. Then start carving the sides round and smooth. Sand smooth with sandpaper and then cover with a clear finish.
