• Giver - the speaker (or writer)
• Receiver - the listener (or reader)

The most difficult is the receiver because there is more work that your brain has to do to process the information.

It's not enough just to hear; you must understand and comprehend what is said.

So, put as much effort into listening to someone as you would want someone to put into listening to you. That sounds familiar doesn't it?
