This project is nice for the person who always wants to be prepared.
The Formica counter top sample can be obtained from most home improvement stores. They are about 2"x 1" and have a hole in one end. The binder clip is the spring type used to hold 30 or so sheets of paper together. Drill a hole in the PVC ring the same size as the bolt. Simply bolt the binder clip onto the counter top sample and PVC ring. Put the small pad of paper in the binder clip. You might want to add a small pencil for completeness.
